WeÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«ÌÎÌÊre losing America.

Over the past four years, President Barack Obama has systematically undermined every pillar of AmericaÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«ÌÎÌÊs strength and vitality ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´å from the economy to health care to immigration to energy policy to personal liberty. With a bloated federal bureaucracy, staggering national debt, crippling unemployment, a crushing burden of regulation and red tape for private business and entrepreneurs, zealous pursuit of far-left pet projects and attacks on every Constitutional freedom imaginable, Obama has brought America to the brink of disaster ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ___ and now he has four more years to push us over the cliff.

Will we be able to avoid going over the edge?

Well-known author and academic researcher John Lott sounds the alarm as he convincingly documents the challenges we face and builds an overwhelming case for fundamental change ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´å not the kind Obama promised, but the kind we need to save America from permanent damage.

In "At the Brink," youÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«ÌÎÌÊll learn how:

  • ObamaÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«ÌÎÌÊs new health care system is not only going to plunge the country into debt, but destroy the incentives that are the key to delivering timely, quality care ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´å all because to Obama, ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´ÌàprofitÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´åÇ is a dirty word.
  • ObamaÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«ÌÎÌÊs failed economic ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´ÌàrecoveryÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´åÇ has only worsened the employment and living conditions of all Americans, hitting two groups particularly hard: recently-graduated Americans under 25 and seniors ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ___ and things are only going to get worse.
  • In the name of helping homeowners, Obama has actually worsened the housing crisis, damaging the market for homeowners and home buyers alike; and his prolific regulations have wreaked havoc in more than just that segment of the economy.
  • Congress needs to act to change direction fast.

Laden with hard facts you haven't seen anywhere else, Lott details just how dangerous Obama's policies have been, and how they'll get even worse without stiff congressional opposition. "At the Brink" is sobering but essential reading for Americans who care about our future.

Editorial Reviews

"Unlike so many, John Lott gets it. He understands precisely how devastating Barack Obama's policies are in every important domestic area-the economy, health care, and crime. Lott also recognizes that Obama, with the help of a protective media, has shrewdly camouflaged his disastrous policies in propaganda and deceived America voters. But Lott is a master of the facts, and Obama's record and propaganda disintegrate when met with facts." ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´å David Limbaugh, bestselling author

"John Lott offers readers and exceptionally clear, understandable, and devastating critique of President Obama's leading policy initiatives, from Obamacare to economic stimulus, gun control, business regulation, and tax policy. I particularly enjoyed Lott's rebuttal of Obama's economic stimulus efforts, which is the best and most comprehensive rebuttal to claims of effectiveness that currently exists anywhere. This book should be in the hands of every citizen who knows something is very wrong in public policy today but can't find the words or facts to turn concern into solid argument. The words and facts are here." ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´å William W. Beach, director, Center for Data Analysis and Lazof Family Fellow, the Heritage Foundation

"John Lott lays out the false arguments used to justify the increased role of government, from health care to taxation and spending. He knows the issues inside and out, anticipates the counterarguments well, and effectively uses both economic theory and data to support his positions. The scariest thing is that voices like his are becoming way too scarce." ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´å Robert G. Hansen, Ph.D., senior associate dean, Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College

"America is standing at the precipice, ready to tumble into a pit of high taxes, ever higher spending, and sustainable debt. Barack Obama has been pushing from behind, with his stimulus, health care law, and now his gun-grabbing. Have we reached the point of no return? With his characteristic attention to detail, John Lott documents how we got here and shows us the way back." ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´ÌàÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´å W. James Antle III, editor, Daily Caller News Foundation and author of "Devouring Freedom"
