Entrepreneur, restaurateur, author, public speaker, television personality and noted expert on traditional Southern cooking, Paula Deen was born in Albany, Ga. In addition to her success on television where she has hosted numerous cooking programs, Deen is the author of 14 cookbooks that have sold more than 8 million copies. Her bimonthly magazine, "Cooking with Paula Deen," has a circulation of nearly 1 million. On New Year's Day 2011 she was honored to serve as Grand Marshall of the Tournament of Roses Parade.
