Product Description

Christmas has always been a time of love and tradition in the small town of Trapper Falls, Alaska, hometown of Mayor Dan Reed (Ted McGinley). So, together with his brother Greg (Brad Stine), Dan drapes the town in Christmas cheer, concentrating on the nativity scene. But when Dan's high school rival Mitch Bright (Daniel Baldwin) returns home after 20 years, he takes offense at seeing the town's nativity scene in violation of separation of church and state.

Mitch wants the nativity scene removed and the word ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´åÇChristmasÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ_Ì´å« switched to ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´åÇHappy Holidays.ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ_Ì´å« Dan's wife Kristen (Nancy Stafford) and their daughters show the true meaning of Christmas by launching a "Christmas With a Capital C" campaign as an effort to keep the town together. Trapper Falls learns the lesson that, with the arrival of Christmas, good will was to be given to all, even to those whose hearts seem closed to Him.

Editorial Review

ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´åÇThis is a touching story for the holidays and in fact, any time. We learn that Mayor Dan Reed's old nemesis in high school, Mitch Bright, is concealing a secret when he returns to Trapper Falls, Alaska. At first, he is seemingly a successful big time lawyer who is cranky about Christmas and wants to use the city government to take down the nativity scene on display and he even challenges Mayor Dan's daughter while she publicly sings a Christmas song. In time, Dan learns that Mitch needs help in more ways than just getting over his anger toward Christmas and Christians.

ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´åÇThis is a nicely made film with some good themes including forgiveness, loyalty, and standing up for one's beliefs. We are more than pleased to award our Dove "Family-Approved" Seal to this movie. It is an inspiring film.ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ_Ì´å« ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´å Edwin L.
