The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam and the Crusades (Paperback)
By Robert Spencer
Islam expert Robert Spencer reveals Islam’s ongoing, unshakable quest for global conquest and why the West today faces the same threat as the Crusaders did – and what we can learn from their experience.
This is a particularly daring endeavor: Few in the United States or Europe want to face the frightening facts about jihad. Spencer sidesteps PC boundaries and presents the raw facts that have been glossed over by the “Politically Correct League.” The jihadist goal of today is two-sided: One side is of violence and terror, and the other is of cultural shaming and the rewriting of history.
As he looks back at the Crusades of which the Western world is so ashamed, Spencer references historical fact to show that, contrary to leftist propaganda, “an aggressive, violent Islamic creed for fourteen centuries has waged war against the infidel West, a scourge of conquest and persecution that roused the Crusaders to restore the Near East to the Christian and Hellenic culture devastated by the armies of Islam.” (Bruce S. Thornton)
Spencer’s guide warns that it is time to step up and come to grips with the implications of Islam.
