Product Description

A well-researched and eye-opening look at the lies in media coverage of a battle in Jenin against terrorists. Filmmaker Pierre Rehov exposes the Palestinians' skill at inventing news, inflating body counts and lying on camera.

This film starts with difficult images of the Netanya bombing on Passover evening and with an account by a victim who lost her husband. Operation Defensive Shield, launched by Israel, is the direct consequence of this terrorist act.

Active images follow: Tsahal tanks go into the camp, dynamiting terrorist suspect houses, fighting in the streets. The fighting was particularly violent in Jenin. Aircraft and helicopters could have bombed the camp, but the army did not do so in order to avoid harming civilians ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_Ì´åÇÌÎå«Ì´å a reservist explains. Narrow streets meant the tanks could not enter the camp, and 23 Israeli soldiers were killed.

The third part of the film is, without doubt, the most captivating: Rehov goes to Jenin with a Palestinian team and manages to reveal the ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´åÇliesÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ_Ì´å« of many of the ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎå«Ì´åÇwitnesses to the massacreÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ__ÌÎÌ_ÌÎ_ÌÎÌ_Ì´å« he interviews. A shocking indictment!

About the Producer

Pierre Rehov is a French-Israeli documentary film producer and director, novelist, journalist and lawyer.
