The Illuminated Torah Book - (Hardcover)
This edition of the complete Torah (the first five books of the Bible) is the signature production of Holy Land Gifts, a lifetime achievement we're pleased to share with you and your families!
This book is a spectacular presentation of the Word of God that is beautifully rendered with color engravings and decorative motifs along the covers and pages. This Torah is perhaps one of the most easily comprehended, as the original Hebrew text of the Torah is presented side by side with the English translation so that you can read both at the same time without turning pages.
The Holy Land Edition of the Torah
As stated on the back of the box cover:
The edition of the Torah that you are holding in your hands is another in the great Jewish tradition of scrolls and books that have made God’s words accessible to His people. Illustrated manuscripts, some of which have been preserved over a thousand years, tell a fascinating story of Jewish art, including the influence of foreign artists from the East and West.
The publisher of this book allows you to connect with an ancient Jewish tradition of creating decorated and illustrated Torah books that combine the beauty of biblical content with various shapes and artistic conceptions. At the beginning of this book, we utilized art in the Jewish tradition, and thereafter, we made the Hebrew text correspond precisely to the English text on each opposing page so that you can read both languages simultaneously.
Please note that the Hebrew font size is slightly bigger than the Latin Alphabet characters.

It's absolutely beautiful!

This Torah is so beautiful; it is a treasure with the artwork and stunning boarders on each page. This is a must have for everyone.
Wonderful quality - inside, but sadly not out...
by David Hambleton
Stunning presentation! The pages are thick high-gloss magazine-finish with deep color and clear text in both the Hebrew and English columns. The illuminations are truly art-quality. My daughter uses this for weekly Biblical Hebrew lessons and we use it for weekly Torah services with great pleasure.

Sadly, weekly reminds me of weakly, which is how the naugahyde-type cover has held up. We are careful readers, keeping this book on a special set-apart place atop the bookshelf, and we are kind to bindings and use a yad to touch pages; but this inexcusable "pleather" or whatever they want to call it, is cracking and peeling off the outside of this wonderful book. This is a tragedy considering the ornamentation of the front cover, not to mention the high quality workmanship within. I would pay 200% of the price over again to purchase one with a leather cover to match the treasure inside.
