Maybe He’s Not Gay (Paperback)
By Linda Harvey
“I’m gay.” As more and more young people decide this is their identity, it’s time to take a closer look. It’s a profound declaration, a new civil right (they are told) and it’s “who you are.” But there’s a problem: Are we sure this is the truth?
Does this identity bring the promised liberation and the key to a whole new life? Does it lift the burden of secrecy – or begin a different kind of struggle?
"Maybe He’s Not Gay: Another View on Homosexuality" by Linda Harvey addresses these critical questions. This book is for America’s youth and the bright future they can all have, regardless of the turmoil of adolescence, which for some may include same-sex attractions or gender confusion. What do those feelings mean? Is there another possibility that transcends the seeming finality of a homosexual identity?
Teens, college students, parents, youth group leaders and many others will appreciate the practical insights and faith perspective of "Maybe He’s Not Gay."
“Having suffered a major setback when Phil Robertson of ‘Duck Dynasty’ got his job back, the gay lobby is now going for a softer target—a pro-family activist in Ohio whose book, ‘Maybe He’s Not Gay,’ undercuts their recruitment efforts among kids. Author Linda Harvey, who runs a pro-family ministry called Mission America, seems to have emerged as more of a target than Phil Robertson.
“The Maybe He’s Not Gay book ‘seeks to tell kids the truth about homosexual behavior,’ Harvey says. … ‘At school, in the media, in books, kids are being urged to consider whether or not they are homosexual at younger and younger ages.’ She says the ‘You could grow up to be gay’ message is being given to children even in elementary school, ‘creating a lot of emotional upheaval for many’ and leading some to come to the false conclusion that they are homosexual. … ‘Get people to accept homosexuality at a young age, and a small group of people can revolutionize the world. Trouble is, kids aren’t getting the whole story and the facts. In my opinion, they are being set up.’
"The ‘revolutionary’ aspect is apparent in that Harry Hay, a member of the Communist Party USA and supporter of the North American Man-Boy Love Association, founded the homosexual movement in the U.S.” – Cliff Kinkaid, Canada Free Press
“Linda is one of my heroes in the pro-family Christian movement. She is a former journalist and media executive who now is a sought after speaker and hosts a national radio show based out of Ohio. Hidden within this attractive, professional woman, is a real stick of dynamite. She has more courage in one pinky finger than many people have in their whole body. She isn’t easily intimidated and doesn’t back away from a debate over truth with anyone. Linda chose to pull her book from Amazon. Homosexual activists have quickly twisted that into a lie that Amazon pulled the book because of its harmful or inaccurate content.” – Micah Clark, IllinoisFamily.org
